3rd day at UM

oh my god!!!!, today's my 3rd day n i am oredi feeling as though i av been in UM for ages... so many things to do d... n so many crazy and wacky events in 3days oni... bt the one tat i wud never ever forget is wat happened today... we, me, gowrey and shamy were late for our assessment class.... OMG!!! oredi tat 'Dr' told on the 1st day itself tat no latecomers, bt twas nt our fault at all.... the bus is to be blamed..... we went 7minutes late and then knocked, he did not open the door, we waited outside (thank God) we din leave, we were praying hard tat he wil allow us in... and then suddenly after bout 10minutes of waiting, the door opened... n i was seated right in front of the 'Dr'... he told me tat am to answer one question... me went into shock, ;why me???....
bt lucky us, he actually called my name to answer a question and twas wen he realised tat i am nt in the class n my fellow coursemates told him tat we r outside... thank god... he asked me, 'did, u knock' n i told him 'yes'... he just nodded... man i was scared... n worried... bt ntg happen... i answered some crap and he told us to read topic one again.... after tat the class started being more like a class, ppl start pouring out their view point and the 'Dr' seem to be nt as 'evil-portrayed' anymore... he was in fact 'helping' us in choosing elective.... in fact he even winked at gow... =) cool man... am starting to like his style... ni better get bak to doing his summary... will update things more after this....

Sorry for nt updating for like ages... been busy and lost touch in blogging d... neway now am bak n will keep updating my blog... tooo many events had happen recently... some were very sweet and some were very painful... it even hurts till now... am nt sure i wud like to write those stuff as i do not intend to remember them... or even recalling them...

i am feeling very remorse for somethings that had occured bt i cannot do anything change it nw... let bygones be bygones... nw i am in University d... no more in maktab... things are different... people change according to time, place and situations... so i cannot blame anyone.... i have to adapt myself and can now oni follow the flow and seek god's guidance n bless... =)

Perception

One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live.



They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from the trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?" "It was great, Dad".



"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.



"Oh yes", said the son. "So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.



The son answered, "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.



Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants to serve us, but they serve others.



We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."



The boy's father was speechless. Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad for showing me how poor we are."



Isn't perspective a wonderful thing ? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

Two Angels

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family.

The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a space in the cold basement.

As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied... "Things aren't always what they seem".

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife.

After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field.

The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel "how could you have let this happen!? The first man had everything, yet you helped him," she accused. "The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let their cow die."

"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied. "When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall.

Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it. Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave her the cow instead. Things aren't always what they seem."

Sometimes this is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that every outcome is always to your advantage. You might not know it until some time later.

Wow! it has been ages since I wrote something here....
Guess i have been over-busy =)
bt now that i am back-in-action..... i will be writing again, frequently and creatively.....
Actually I have loads to tell here...
about the whole of last few months[from the time i was 'MIA'(missing in action) till recently]
looks like it is going to be a long one... but i will make it part by part.....
